How far along? 36 weeks.
Total weight gain: 31, but even the doctor agreed it seems to be mostly fluid.
Maternity clothes? They’re starting to get too short, especially the dresses (necessary for work). I’m thinking cropped leggings underneath…God help me. HATE leggings, but refusing to buy any more clothes.
Sleep: Miserable. If I get comfortable, then I have to pee. & once I pee, it’s hard to get comfy again. & ’round the circle we must go.
Best moment this week: Head-down!!
Movement: Starting to get painful at times…he has a knee that engages in war with my organs.
Gender: boy!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: Being able to walk without feeling like my hips are SCREAMING at me.
What I am looking forward to: the brownies that are currently baking in the oven icon wink 36 Week Belly Picture
Weekly Wisdom: Start planning the meals you’re going to cook & freeze. & start on them!
Milestones: Weekly OB appointments.

35 Week Belly Picture

img 2368 768x1024 35 Week Belly PictureHow far along? 35 weeks. With only 35 days left. ::incredulous, blank stare::
Total weight gain: 28 lbs total
Maternity clothes? Yep. & some of my shirts are getting too short already.
Sleep: Awful. I wake up 3-4 times per night just to pee, plus I cannot get comfortable. & when I wake up, my hips & shoulders are killing me.
Best moment this week: Eating my entire cheeseburger at Red Robin. I was SHOCKED. I also paid for it the entire night with heartburn & nausea, but that’s a different story.
Movement: It’s like being drawn & quartered. “FREEDOM!!!!”
Gender: Boy, yo!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: Waking up feeling rested.
What I am looking forward to: Him dropping so I don’t have to make the decision between eating & breathing.
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy food! I can’t eat much (usually, minus the cheeseburger), so I make sure I’m eating something very, very tasty.
Milestones: 35/35

And as a note on 35/35….it is TERRIFYING. Panic has ensued. Only 35 days?!?! Only 35 days left when it feels like I barely start one day before it’s time to wind down for another. How is that possible? 35 days to wrap up work ends, get the house ready, get the baby gear ready, etc. & to those who say that the last 35 days will crawl by….THAT’S WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE PAST 5 WEEKS, TOO. LIARS.

34 Week Belly Picture

How far along? 34 weeks.
Total weight gain: 27 lbs total
Maternity clothes? Yep.
Sleep: I’m freakin’ exhausted. Constantly.
Best moment this week: Being told there’s “no way” I look like I’m giving birth in six weeks. Oh, and eating Krispy Kreme donuts. YUM.
Movement: He’s been so active this week. & he showed off for our friends last night, who have never seen a pregnant belly move before.
Gender: Team Peen!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: My patience.
What I am looking forward to: Hopefully nailing down the Mommy Mobile in a week or two.
Weekly Wisdom: Be flexible with your “birth plan.” Obviously, I have preferences but Nate & I are discussing all possible options & allowing ourselves to be comfortable with any outcome, as long as Harrison gets here safely.
Milestones: Crib is ready!

33 Week Belly Picture (No really! There is one this week!)

dsc 68062 417x1024 33 Week Belly Picture (No really! There is one this week!)& to make up for the lack of picture in last week’s post, here is a sneak peak of the maternity shoot we did on Friday evening with a good friend of mine. (normally I wouldn’t crop this, but I shall not post maternity pictures until final product is official)

How far along? 33 weeks.
Total weight gain: 25 lbs total…I put 31, but apparently that was water weight because it’s been 25 for the past two days.
Maternity clothes? Duh. But I’ve splurged on a few new things to help make me feel pretty the next 7 weeks.
Sleep: More, please.
Best moment this week: It’s seriously been an awesome week — baby shower, maternity pictures, girlfriends in town, cuppycakes galore…I cannot pick just one moment. Except maybe a girlfriend of mine saying “Is it a butt plug?” in from of my mother-in-law at my shower.
Movement: He’s a wild man! If this is any indicator of his personality, we’re in trouble.
Gender: Penis!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: I can’t lie, I am counting down the weeks until I can open our liquor cabinet again.
What I am looking forward to: Touring the hospital’s birth center this week.
Weekly Wisdom: Be proactive. There are so many people that poo-pooed the inversions & exercises to get him to turn (“oh, don’t worry! you have plenty of time!”) but it made me feel like I’m doing my job to practice everything in my power to help him out.
Milestones: First baby shower icon smile 33 Week Belly Picture (No really! There is one this week!) & I started on his laundry…Lord help me.

32 Week Belly Picture

Maternity clothes? yep.
Sleep: I have completely lost the ability to sleep in. I’ve also lost the ability to not be in desperate need of a nap by noon.
Best moment this week: Hearing Harrison’s heartbeat. It never, ever gets old.
Movement: Constant. With itty-bitty baby feet lodged in my far right rib.
Gender: BOY!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: Being able to be as active as I used to be — I now lack the energy, motivation, & coordination icon sad 32 Week Belly Picture
What I am looking forward to: Baby shower next Saturday!! ::squeaaa:: Is it self-centered to be this excited about a party for me & the babe? Because I don’t care if it is.
Weekly Wisdom: Take it easy. No, really. If you take a Saturday to clean the house, go grocery shopping, work on the nursery, & start fixing your screen porch…you will PAY DEARLY the next day. I can barely walk today, my feet & hips hurt so badly.
Milestones: It’s not a fantastic one, but I’ve officially started efforts to turn Harrison (he’s trasnverse, more on that later).
