A pick-me-up.
A little note that says, “Thank you for all you do.”
A small treat, just because.
Something that says, “Hey, you are awesome just for being you!” in a world of constant chaos & under-appreciation. I think as mothers & women & wives & sisters & daughters, we all know the feeling of wondering if we matter. If what we’re doing is worthy or if we are simply going through the motions, unnoticed & worrying we will never make an impact.
I know that feeling very well, but I am very thankful for my blog, which gives me positive feedback daily. It (& you!) are so good for my heart. But what about the haggard momma in the grocery aisle with three small children? Or the barista at Starbucks with the worry lines etched across her face? Or the young man in thread-bare jeans, studying textbooks at a late hour in the library?
More than just fueling a handwritten practice with social media, we are on a mission to spread more love letters out into a world that so desperately needs them. Through writing, leaving and mailing love letters, we are learning to turn our words into lanterns to light the paths of others.
My letter for Tara, via More Love Letters, a young twenty-something that works hard, studies hard, & provides for her family. That’s a lot of stress & responsibility to juggle, so I hope my letter encourages her to be kind to herself, gentle on her heart, & to treat herself to a warm cup of coffee.

(I had been holding onto this card for the perfect moment & person. I just love the gal & her little sparkle. I hope Tara loves it, too!)

I love this. I just signed up. Thank you for spreading the word!
Just signed up! This will be awsome!
What a fabulous idea.
Love this.
I love this idea SO much! Just subscribed to the Alert List.
Its crazy how timely this is for me as I just today published a post about feeling amongst other things under appreciated. I’m definitely going to sign up as well all need a pick me up!
What a wonderful thing to do, BA! Man, the things people come up with on the internet never cease to amaze me!
What a neat idea – thanks for introducing this to us!
What a great, great thing to do! You amaze me with your goodness and generosity! Not in a “whoa, she did what??” kind of way, but more in a “you know she is just that amazing, she’d totally do something like that and I should be inspired and do something right now with that bit of inspiration before the lazy/tired/busy feeling steals it away”.
