Look, ma! No undereye circles!

covergirlcollage Look, ma! No undereye circles!

CoverGirl Lash Perfection mascara in a brown-black shade.

Oh, my.  It is very pretty on.  I never really believed that mascara could “lengthen” lashes until this one & I didn’t even have to dig out a toothpick to take out clumps!  (kidding! I’m too clumsy to put sharp objects near my eyes.)  It held up beautifully, even though the tears of a therapy session.  Also, this may have been the first mascara I have tried where I didn’t look like a raccoon by 5pm.  Thank you, Lash Perfection, for not smudging under my eyes.  Love you, mean it!

If this stuff really stays on my lashes and not under my eyes until 5pm or later, I’m driving to your house with wine and cookies. Because I have been on a mascara quest since the early 90′s.

Swear to it. At least, it works for me & like you, I’ve been on a quest. I’ve tried other CoverGirl & had no success, but this stuff is glorious.

& it’s nice & fluffy looking, too. I hate mascaras that are all SUPER DUPER LONG WITH THE SCARY SPIDER LASHES, but this is nice & flirty & fluffy.

Ooooh I’d love to try that! I’ve been using the same dang mascara since I was 14. (Well, not the same TUBE obviously, the same $1.99 brand!) I’m terrible with makeup, I wouldn’t even know what to do with blush if I got a hold of some. But I’d love to try!

Very cool! I’ve never found a “cheap” mascara that I like. I’d definitely be willing & able to try with that $50. :)

Ooh! My poor make up bag has been badly neglected since I got pregnant last summer. Now that my son is six months old, I need to replace a few things! And if this mascara is as great as you say it is, I may just have to cheat on my beloved pink and green tube…

Yeah, I desperately need a new mascara – and a new eye makeup remover and a shade of eyeshadow that wasn’t purchased in 2005 and… well, you get the idea.

I sure could use some prettying up these days. A year into the mamahood gig and I look like I roll right out of bed and head to work everyday, wrinkles, under eye circles and all. And sometimes banana smooshed all over my pants. Sigh.

Ooh, I would love this. My eyes are always irritated and watery due to a lack of sleep and some irresponsible contact lens wearing, so anything that can stand up to that is a winner in my book!

upping my style game has really helped me feel more confident as a working mother, too. mascara is my one essential even when I don’t have time for everything else (though I have to say that is rare, I am the master of the five-minute-face.) but yes. the undereye circles are my constant bane – but I’m not sure if it’s the mascara or the whole toddler plus being pregnant thing. pick me (randomly) so I can find out! :)

I can’t hang with the new type of mascara brush. :-( My eyelids just can’t deal. They hurt for some reason! You’d think the old-school kind with bristles would hurt more, but the new plastic bristles feel like their tearing my eyelids apart. It feels gross on the edges of my lids, where the lashes grow out.
