Something lighter for the rest of the week, yes? Something to CELEBRATE the fact that you know, I’m alive & stuff. I think we all agreed that this week, I should have cake of some kind. But I decided that YOU should have cake, too. So Ebony from Pickle’s Bake Shop is chipping in to spread the cake love.
Simply put? Cake jars are awesome. I mean, who doesn’t love cake? Cupcakes are awesome but my cake jars give you just a bit more to yum to enjoy in a nice, clean mason jar.
A few weeks ago, Ebony sent me a sample of her work in vanilla flavored. I took one bite, swooned, then passed it to Nate to finish off. & then we got all inspired & started dancing around the house & we were going to make a video of this but got distracted by a toddler’s broken wrist, which makes it official that toddlers ruin the best-laid plans to a) be anywhere on time & b) make a potentially viral video.
So for now (until I get my husband drunk tonight & pick up a mason jar & the Flip), just picture me singing:
One - Take the lid off the jar.
Two - Put your cake in the jar.
Three - Make her open the jar.
& that’s the way you do it
