In January, I was lucky to meet Lindsey of The Pleated Poppy at Blissdom. She’s funny, sweet, creative, talented…oh yeah, & she’s utterly darling.
my days are full of sewing, trying to enjoy home schooling, crafting, snuggling, avoiding the laundry, sneaking bites of chocolate, and wondering “is it naptime yet?”. i am also the fabric-hoarding, late-night working girl behind the pleated poppy, my little online shop where i get to create bits of goodness and send them out to customers far and wide. ~from Lindsey’s blog

She was sweet enough to give me a Posy Pin as her calling card & I have been wearing that thing out as Spring approaches. It just gives the right touch of whimsy to a plain aqua tshirt.

I’ve been writing a lot lately in a journal. I write about my blessings. I write about what made me smile. I write about anything I did during the day…like stupid things like “I brushed my teeth today”…When I’m feeling vulnerable to my thoughts I go back and read what I wrote. It keeps me trucking forward.
My journal is ugly looking and I would love to make it pretty. I’d love the chocolate journal cover. Ok, and the pink pouch…oh and the gray wristlet…ok, everything then. Love this find

I can’t pick just one thing that I love… I am loving the petal pushers (which honestly, the first thing that came to mind were the pants from around middle school times – and it made me giggle) and I am loving the checkbook covers, the ruffle scarf, and the sunglasses case!
