Oh, I adore that milk shirt! And Harrison is a doll, as usual. I see so much of Nate in his face.

  2. Elizabeth says:

he is too cute! i was also going to say that he looks so much like Nate!

  3. Lindsey says:

Love the lunch plate! I see that you keep Harrison facing the rear, I know I should probably do that too but I just hate to switch it back around. Is it hard to get him out of the seat in that position?

    • heirtoblair says:

      It’s actually so much easier!

He rode facing forward for about a week when we had to move furniture (we had to put seats down, which meant he had to be behind the driver & there’s no space for him to face rear) & it was harder to get him in & out, in my opinion. I did love how much easier it was to interact with him facing forward, especially on the commute home after I hadn’t seen him all day, but I figure we have 50 years of interacting in the car to go :)

    A. I’m 30 so shut your 27 year old pie hole
    And
B.My Chunky will share the spot of cutest toddler with Harrison because ya know…he’s already sealed that award ;)
Ps. You know I’m just joking and love you…but still I’m 30

  7. Megan says:

I wanted to comment on how happy I was to see your rear-facing seat. It just so much safer that way and everyone seems to be in agreement that it’s now recommended up til 2. My kiddo is 22 months, but very low weight, so I don’t see us turning him around anytime soon. He doesn’t know any other way, and I am happy to do what’s safest.

  8. Blair – that Toddler meal looks amazing! If you ever want to cook for my kids just let me know. They’d think you were amazing!

  9. Madorie says:

What kind of honey mustard is that?

  10. Katie Jones says:

You are SO freakin hot in your new avatar. I’d do you.

  11. Lesley says:

I just got my baby (Macy 9 months) the same car seat. We plan to keep her rear facing until she’s 2 but what I’m wondering is does Harrison seem to have enough leg room? Seems like that could be a bit uncomfortable. Harrison is absolutely adorable, love his lil shoes!

    • heirtoblair says:

Yes! He has plenty of room. Right now he just rests his feet on the back of the seat & his legs are a little bent. I think most kids cross their legs once they get longer.

Another plus is that he can’t kick the back of my seat when he’s rear-facing ;)

  12. bonzer-christina says:

can’t believe it’s fucking tee shirt weather in NC. It was 36 in NY friday. Bull shit. Bull Shit. Bull Shit. Adorable pics.

  13. Stephanie says:

OK, if I could look as cute as you do in a baseball cap I would be so pleased.

That looks like a perfect toddler meal. I do something similiar with my kids, they like cut up ham.

    Love the sneakers, adorable :)

Looks like a fun weekend, we got snow so I am a little jealous of your first lawn cut.

  14. angela says:

I love his kicks! Abbey just got little pink All Stars, and I love them. Of course we’re still alternating with the glaringly bright pink patent leather ballet flats, but the Converse are the first “athletic” shoes she’ll wear voluntarily.

And you rock the soccer mom admirably. I look like a boy in a baseball cap :(

  15. Leah says:

It made me feel good to see you are still using your Target Christmas plate too. We now rotate between the christmas plate, the valentines plate, and the easter plate. And I am guessing it will be that way until the 4th of July because I am not sure what holiday plate they will come up with until then.

  16. TarheelsInNj (thebump) says:

Great idea with dipping the turkey in honey mustard! What kind of turkey did you use? It doesn’t look like lunch meat, is it just cut up turkey breast?

    • heirtoblair says:

It’s the Carving Board stuff by Oscar Meyer. So yep, lunch meat but it doesn’t taste or feel like lunch meat at all. If we have leftovers & stuff, I use that, but in a quick pinch this stuff is awesome. A little pricier, but so worth it.

& the kid just LOVES dipping. If it gets him to eat stuff, I’m all for it.

  17. Jessica says:

Dummy!! Wouldn’t have even noticed the Christmas plate until you pointed it out!

Now… “BOOOO HIISSSS!! WORST MOMMY EVER!!!”

  18. Cassie says:

Ummm I sort of would like a plate of food just like that for lunch today! :) I really do think I eat just like a little kid sometimes.
