As you know, I’ve been sewing up a storm recently in our loft area. But the real problem was in the living room where my silk pillows have taken quite a toddler + 50-lb dog beating. & while I’m learning, I’m simply not good enough to trust myself with covering pillows that are seen by company.
So I enlisted Mae’s help.
Mae & I shared a bed & hot dogs in New York City last August. She’s hilarious & tiny & pretty much down for anything, including opening up her own Etsy shop. Life’s Candy is where you will find all sorts of wonderful fabric treats fro the home. Napkins, placemats, pillow covers, cocktail goodies, etc.
I am currently in love with these. & these, because DUH! birds.
About a month ago, Mae asked if she could help me out with my pillow dilema. She asked me about my living room colors & I’m all, “I dunno. Aqua & green? I think I’d like to pull in some yellow or orange or something.” & she whipped up these bad boys.

I would get the reversible yellow/plum napkins! And, I just wanted to say that I *almost* picked the exact fabric of your new pillow covers to make my dining room curtains. It just wasn’t quite right for my curtains, but your pillow covers are beautiful! It makes me want to go back and and make something else with the fabric instead. Love them!

Since I have an 18 month old boy, my life is all tonka trucks, dinosaurs and building blocks. I am all over table runners! It is a bit dangerous as my toddler loves to pull the ‘magician trick’ with my table runner and all the contents on the table, but I still love to decorate with them!
