I have an amazing friend.
& this weekend, I opened up the most beautiful picture – her three babies, swaddled in a row, snug in their shared crib. Finally home with their parents. Standing in a crowded ballroom in Nashville, I burst into tears of happiness, thanking God for this miracle. Born at 28 weeks gestation, these triplets fought long & hard in the NICU for 67 days. These babies are fighters. I am so proud of them & equally in awe of their parents.
Years ago, they may not have stood such a fighting chance. But thanks to the March of Dimes, my sweet “nieces” & “nephew” were welcomed to the world with the equipment & knowledge to help them succeed. & for that, I will walk on April 30, 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I don’t normally ask you for donations.
But if you have an extra dollar or two & would like to contribute, I am raising money for the March of Dimes in honor of Toby, Eleanor, & Callista. & I would so appreciate your support.
All you have to do is click the purple badge at the top right of your screen. It will take you to my March of Dimes page, where you will see that I am part of the Peanut Butter Jelly Time! team.

I love you and this!
I agree with Speed!!
No, *I* have an amazing friend. Correction. I have amazing friendS. You all are making me cry each time I see such enthusiasm and dedication to raising money for MoD. Gah.
I love you, BA!
That picture WAS amazing. I am just an infrequently-commenting bystander, but it was a beautiful sight to see those babies at home where they belong =)
wasn’t it just the most precious thing?!
I’ve been reading your friends blog since she was pregnant with her triplets. So happy they’re finally home too. When I saw the picture of the 3 babies lined up I had a huge grin on my face.
I <3 that you are doing this! I have a team for my preemie that is walking in MI on the same day, and the MOD is freakin wonderful! Thanks so much for supporting an awesome cause, and Congrats J&T for having at home babies! LOVE!
It never siezes to amaze me how resilient these newborn babes are. Fighters for sure. So glad that they are home and ready to start life
Did that pic not completely take your breath away?!? Ive never even met your sweet friend & I cried tears of joy for her upon seeing her 3 little bundles snuggled together. What a truly amazing thing & what a great reminder to NEVER take anything for granted. Most of us have our babies, bring them home shortly after, & never think twice. When I kiss my sweet little boy’s head each night, I will send up a silent prayer for jen & all the mommies who have to fight extra hard for their wee ones. Thanks BA for this sweet reminder.
Wow that was long! Sorry! Going to donate now!
Btw? “meandering douchebags”?? Just might be my favorite comment EVAH
This is a great thing you are doing. My Nate was born 10 weeks premature and I hold this close to my heart. Together we walked last year and are register to walk this year. It is an amazing event!
I’ve been following Jenn’s blog since you posted about her baby shower and it has made me appreciate my daughter (who was born on time via c-section) so much more. I’m so glad the babies are doing well!
I’ve also been following Jenn’s blog and I’m so happy the triplets are doing well. I participate in the Philly area walk, but donated. Wish I could walk with you guys, too!
I love how much we’re raising for Team PB&J! Can’t wait to walk with you & Jenny & ETC on 4/30!
What beautiful miracles! Love that you’re doing this!!
Donated, good luck!
