Ladies & gents, I give you our 2010 Christmas card:

(some of you will have this on your fridge, you lucky ducks)
**Pictures are by my lovely friend Jenny. But not the Jenny with the triplets. I just know a lot of Jennifer’s. & oddly enough, most of them are amazing with a camera.
Growing up, my parents sent out a Christmas card every year. Part one consisted of us dressing up in Scout uniforms & standing next to the fire place. I would usually sob that I had to have my cat in the picture because she’s family & my brothers would roll their eyes. The oldest would hem & haw because he hates having his picture taken & eventually, one of the my brothers would punch the other one right in nuts.
(I don’t know how my parents survived the three of us.)
Part two consisted of my parents sitting down to tap out a letter describing our year, cleverly leaving out all nut-punches & that time that I made a 35 on a chemistry test, even though I had a private tutor. My father would add in funny one-liners, The Momma would delete half of them & they’d sign off, lick the envelopes, & out the letter & picture went to all our friends & family.
I don’t write a letter. Not yet, at least. I figure that 90% of the folks that receive our Christmas card have the web address right above this blog post & know what’s going on. Besides, what would I write?
Dear Friends & Family,
This year has ushered in much change & medical bills. Life with a baby is certainly interesting! Harrison peed all over my gorgeous paisley curtains. Tucker at shit out of a diaper. I wrote hate notes to delivery men. We talked about going on a cool vacation but decided to buy gold-laced unicorn dust formula instead. It has been the best year of our lives! We survived.Love,
Blair & Nate
Somehow, that doesn’t have quite the touch I was hoping for.
Last year, I did not send off a Christmas card because I was a) overwhelmed & b) had just sent out over 80 birth announcements. This year, I felt determined to send one off. So I scheduled a mini-photo shoot with Jenny & received an email from John from Tiny Prints, asking if I would like my Christmas cards to be sponsored. & I’m all, “John from Tiny Prints, does a fat baby fart?! Of course I’d love some Christmas cards!” So I flipped through their designs & tried to decide between this one & this one, but ultimately Nate picked the one you see up top.
It is lovely. Heavy card stock, gorgeous color, bright & cheerful. They email you to double-check it before it goes to print, which is great for folks like me that have horrible spelling & grammar skills. Absolutely classy & something I am proud to sign my name on & send out.
& maybe next year, I’ll have a letter to go along with it.
Maybe.
required: john from tiny prints gave me 25 cards free of charge. i love them. i bought more.

you are so gorgeous & so is your family <3
oh, thank you Devan! You are too dear
i LOVE how you talk about the crap that are the letters. I do them, but I must admit, I purposefully leave out all the bad. We do get some in the mail where people do talk about the bad and they’re always so sad! I can’t decide what’s better; dishonesty, or leaving people depressed during the holiday season.
I love.adore.worship your card!
I admit though my favorite part is in the main picture, your holding Harrison but he also has a hand on his daddy. Almost like, “these are my peeps. We are all in this together.”
Such a sweet card with adorable pics!
You know, I have stared at that picture 5,000 times & NEVER noticed it. But now it’s my favorite part of the picture.
Beautiful! I kind of adore your family.
The photo of Harrison in the top right corner is fabulous. For serious. He is just plain beautiful.
I’m all, “John from Tiny Prints, does a fat baby fart?! Of course I’d love some Christmas cards!”
This made my day! I am still laughing a little as I paste it! I may have a splash of alcohol in my oj, but it is still hilarious!
The pictures are amazing too dear! Awesome card. I was put on full on card duty this year… We had pictures done also but not in time to put them in the card.. but they still came out dandy..
So pretty! I went with Shutterfly this year for the first time – but have always heard nice things about Tiny Prints. Maybe with this new baby I’ll have it in me to send out birth announcements and I’ll try them out!
I love your card!! Those pics are gorgeous! Man Harrison is just too cute!
What a lovely Christmas card! You and your family are so ridiculously good looking
Lady, you flatter me way too much. YOU are the gorgeous one with a hunky husband.
I LOVE tinyprint
We got our birth announcements there & this years Christmas card. Love love love them

BTW – unicorn dust??? Vince used to call Ava’s Nutramigen Angel tears & unicorn dust it was THAT expensive.
Love you & your card
Blessings & Hugs – J xxx
I speak of the Nutramigen. Made in a production house where a sacrificial mermaid is required at the start of each day. oy. I am SO THANKFUL to not have that expense anymore.
I totally LOLed a “does a fat baby fart!”
Stealing that. I will find a way to use it somehow. Promise.
And I also know of the Nutramigen. HORRID SMELLING AWFUL SPAWN OF REALLY EXPENSIVE SATAN.
Lovely card, though
ADORABLE! Such a good-looking family
love it and you know I would love a straight up honest christmas card from you…what if we actually sent out cards with complete honesty! love the pics and the card…enjoy the fact that harrison actually looked at the camera…19month is having nothing to do with the camera this year! You are blessed and so am I! love to you!
Absolutely breathtaking family pictures. And in the one of Harrison by himself? He looks like the perfect blend of both you and Nate
absolutely gorgeous photos! and i love the words too
Your family is beautiful!! Don’t laugh but you have pretty teeth in that picture. Harrison is so cute!!!
See what I say about absolutely gorgeous!? You are. & so is Harry. & Nate.
Love the cards!! Sadly, no Christmas cards for me to send out this year. Too much happening & not near enough money. It makes me sad.
Love them. What great family photos. This year I am sending out combo announcements/cards — doublesided! The thought of doing two cards gave me the shakes.
I would say that the cards are adorable, but really it’s your toocuteforwords family that makes them that way! Just for the record, I would absolutely LOVE having that kind of letter attached to any kind of Christmas card.
What a beautiful family! Blair, I’ve been reading for a long time but never commented before- I know you are making great strides as a runner and so you might want to check out my blog/giveaway!

Happy Holidays to you and yours….
I LOVE the family picture. You look stunning, Harrison is adorable, and your hubby is seriously hot. But most importantly, y’all look happy. You look bonded…in love…glowing. And knowing what kind of year you had, that’s pretty amazing.
They look fabulous! Jenny captured such wonderful photos of each of yall! You look beautiful, Harrison super cute, & Nate hot! And all 3 of you look so happy!
Love the card! I debated between the exact 2 cards from tiny prints…but chose the other one in red
The family photos are beautiful! Love your blog.
Love ~ Love ~ Love it!
I used to write those crazy Christmas letters…but after I realized what We do with the letters we get, that quickly ended.
I love it. I almost picked the same card but the hubby vetoed it.
I love your cards. kind of makes me wish I hadn’t already ordered my (sorta crappy) ones off of shutterfly… you can tell john at tiny prints that your blog has sold me on at least trying their goods!
Awesome photos (and a beautiful family!) also help.
We’ve been buying our christmas cards and special announcements from tiny prints for four years now…I love them! You picked a great montage–everyone is glowing and looks so warm and cozy. Perfect for wintertime!
Ooo any of those designs would have been fabulous with a gorgeous looking family!
What a lovely card! you all look great and so happy
You’ve just inspired me to make our Xmas cards.
Tinyprints seems great, it’s a shame it takes so long to get things sent to europe, otherwise you would have order some from them.
