- Woke up warm & toasty with sunlight pouring in.
- Baked biscuits & gravy with the boys.
- YoBaby is a YO-HELLZ-YEAH according to Harrison.
- The house is fabulously clean thanks to Nate taking Harry out to do boy things, like Home Depot & farting, while I stayed home & tackled the house in an hour.
I curled my hair & put on my Frye boots. Nate called me a sex kitten.
(Steppin’ Out Saturday: jeans from Old Navy, tshirt from Magnolia Bakery in NYC, sweater from Limited. Tummy pudge? Harry. Awkward stance & pained smile? all mine.)
- Harry & I went out on a “date” to give Nate some quiet time.
- I sipped on a Pumpkin Spice Latte; the boy had some organic apple juice.
- We also got some Christmas shopping done.
- We sang Cee Lo in the car. (Okay, I sang. Harrison’s ears bled.)
- Except Nate. I’m stumped with him. What are you getting the men in your life?
- Grilled ham & cheese for lunch. With colby jack & sliced ham.
- We played out in the backyard. Tuck zoomed circles around us while Harrison got deliciously boy-dirty.

- Giggles & sunshine. Camera snaps & dog barks & the smell of earth.

- I baked cupcakes for Mrs. Lusher’s birthday. But sadly discovered that someone, not me, had already dipped into the Rainbow Chip icing.
- Harrison melts my heart every time I watch him lay down beside Tuck & put his head on her belly. Watching their friendship grow is one of my favorite parenting moments.
- Homemade meat loaf & mac n’ cheese with a side of peas.
- Chocolate chip diapers.

- His eyes, heavy with sleep. & me knowing that our days of nighttime bottles are ending, so I soak it in.
- & now ending my day with a cup of tea on the couch with Nate. The house is warm & inviting, ready for the week ahead.
- I am content.

Awww, this made me miss having a backyard. Glad you had a good day!
Days like that are the best. They help make up for the days where we’re frazzled and bogged down.
What a fantastic day! Love the chocolate chip diaper!
Omg I haven’t been able to check in on your blog in a while and you look fab! And Harry is so cute in those choc chip diapers
Love this day!
glad you had an awesome day. It was great I have to agree loving it over here too.
It’s always nice to end the weekend on a great note – makes you feel like the week ahead won’t be so bad!!!
Is that a Monkey Snuggles? Love it!
The day sounds perfect and you look great in those jeans.
that day sounds perfect
Finally, right? You deserve it! : )
…so where are the boots from?? Me likey!
This sounds like an extremely full day but definitely a fabulous one.
I’m the difficult one to shop for. I’m getting DH a new desktop computer and an electric razor and pajama pants for Christmas. He’s probably getting me a new lap top and desk for my dining room so I’ll quit stealing his netbook and blogging on the sofa. LOL
Sounds like a great day. omg, his little leg pudgies are sooooo precious!
Sounds wonderful – love the box fort in the backyard. We had a box tunnel in our living room until it colapsed from overuse. To answer the Christmas gift for hubby question – I had some prof pics of Wynn and me taken which I am having framed for his office. The hubby doesn’t know about them
you are rockin’ those jeans! And I love how you credit Harry. I’m totally stealing that from you. (double chin compliments of Violet. Cottege cheese thighs thanks to cookie dough) That diaper is too damn cute! I LOVE that your posts are full of sunshine and smiles these days, Blair. Way to fight.
That is a PERFECT day!
Love that diaper. Ours are all boring solid colors or polka dots. Who doesn’t love a diaper that incorporates chocolate?!? Sawyer must have one, and since he’s outgrown his small Blueberry diapers and I’m going to be selling them, it might just be possible! YAY!
Chocolate chip diaper = awesomesauce.
And I gave D a baby for Christmas last year. That’s it for just about ever.
That sounds wonderful! I too, am sad at the thought of nighttime bottles ending.
And I LOVE me some rainbow chip frosting!!!!!!!!
So cute!!!! What an adorable fun day!
I love Cee lo too – was it the “F**k You” Song?! That is so catchy – I try to sing the “Forget You” version for our daughter but seeing as she’s only 7 months old I figure if the real lyrics slip out, it’s okay!
Those days? Are the best. The last line “I am content” is the best feeling ever at the end of the day. I hope this charges a positive attitude for the week!
That sounds wonderful!
Those are just the best days….
Perfect. So happy for you! Love those boots, too. Might have to add them to my Christmas list now…
Looking sassy Mama! B and I sing in the van on the way to town…I’m sure people drive by me wondering who the hell I’m talking to. DH and I are giving each other a new computer for Christmas..H2B readers – any suggestions??
I don’t know if I died of cuteness from the hair or the COOKIE cloth diaper (zomg) or the fact that you ate peppermint ice cream.
I have no ideas for Sam for Christmas. Except he wants a Star Trek game. Or Star Wars. And the thing is, if I can’t remember which, there’s a 50/50 shot of it being a very sad Christmas for both of us.
I have to laugh at your I love NY shirt. Only someone that doesn’t live here could proclaim such a thing. LOL
That sounds like THE perfect day.
I got the hubs a video game, some sports memorabilia, and boxers
This sounds amazing, and lovely, and warm and fuzzy. So happy you are happy my friend!
Love the choc-chip-diaper! Way to give cloth diapers a try! We LOVE our cloth diapers!!!
Carry on girl, carry on!
Love these pics, especially the swinging feet! Hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
p.s. I heart that t-shirt.
