I “met” Jess on the internet.
I do that a lot, really. Some people would call it a flaw, but considering that folks are meeting their spouses online these days, making a few e-pals is a blip on the radar. & trust me, you meet some really freakin’ cool people.
Part One Of the Story: Jess & I met on these crazy board where we were all trying to get knocked up & talking about cervical mucus & how a fingernail full of feta would not kill a fetus. (trust me on this one) We hit it off instantly.
Part Two of the Story: I go to Blogher in lovely NYC & during the “Getting Gorgeous” party where I picked up amazing swag including my MiracleBody Jeans & one of those crazy charge-whatever-the-hell-you-want pads that I’m pretty sure is from the Matrix, I also received a gorgeous necklace from Lia Sophia. It is gorgeous & beautifully made & it has pearls on it, so DUH.
Part 3 of the Story: Jess is a Lia Sophia consultant! Confetti in the air! & since she is my girl, we’re opening up a trunk show!

@Rae – Do you mean the % for the hostess gifts? If you do – the minimum amount (very fewest sales that I can possibly give hostess gifts on) in free jewelry is $50 – the trunk show would be $250 minimum so 20% of that…does that make sense?
