Zero effort.

tired Zero effort.

i’m tired.

my camera is currently out of commission, which is hindering any inspiration.

my meds are messed up right now, which leaves me cranky & unmotivated.  & like it’s raining, even though the sun is shining.

i would like to drown it all out in bojangle’s & swedish fish, please.  or at least a large cup of good coffee & a journal, but i don’t see time for that anytime this week.

& my right driver’s side tire is going flat, which is icing on the cake

so i’m rocking a ponytail instead of putting in effort.

mmmmm, bojangles.

& at least i got everything done i needed to do yesterday, which always makes me happy.  i like clean slates.

i do not, however, like it when i realize my tank top has shrunk up too much & is therefore channeling britney spears circa 2001.

but did you hear?  one of my besties has three buns in her oven.  & that makes me thrilled down to my toes.

We all have these days, the medicated and the un-medicated lot of us. It's called " normal"

No one feels up every day, and NO ONE should feel down everyday.

Try not to focus too much on it, because those down days are a fleeting thing and nothing to get your britney tank top too bunched up over
    :)

  2. mrsthig says:

Oh lady…chin up! I know those feelings exactly–I want to lay in bed with the covers over my head and eat everything in sight. Remember that God will never give you more than you can handle and you are doing a fantastic job!

  3. Lisa says:

1st. Resist the Bojangles! you have worked way to hard and you deserve better than the Bo, which will probably just give you heartburn as well (if you're anything like me..)

2nd. Ponytails are totally in this season!

    -Lisa :)

  4. Law Momma says:

  7. Amanda says:

Ponytails are definitely in, not to mention practical when your little one likes to entwine there fingers and pull… I am think it is a savvy move…

  8. I'm sorry you're having a "blah" day. And I wear a ponytail almost every single day, ha. But that's also because my hair is a disaster right now.

And OH MY GAH @ Jenny's news. I curiously hovered my cursor over your link and when I saw that it led to her blog I almost lost my shit. SO EXCITED!

  9. Rachel says:

I hate those days. Hope the funk lifts tomorrow!

  10. Nikki says:

Oh lady, here is hoping tomorrow is a better day! And I am so happy for Jenny! But, I was starting to feel bad about my constant ponytail…but according to the other commentators, it's in…so yay!

  11. Stephanie says:

zomg I LOVE Bojangles. We finally had one open up here in Florida…but it's like 30 minutes away. I love bobiscuits and bosausage and bogravy…it's BORIFFIC.

    Congrats to your friend!! :)

  12. Midgey says:

I'm on the same wave lank today to. I'm in a complete utter funk. We both seem to be having tires going flat and rocking ponytails today too. I think if I would have put some effort into my attire at work today I would maybe be in a possibly better mood. I say you treat your self to some swedish fish today, you deserve it :) ((hugs)) hope your day gets better.

  13. Wendy says:

I have a friend who is expecting triplets also! Talk about a blessing from God!

I pray that your day gets better.

  14. LA says:

It will get better, I know that doesn't help but just hang on it will. And thank you I now dying for an entire bag (the big one) of swedish fish. Ahh I ate at least a bag every few days throughout my pregnancy and then had to have an emergency root canal. Damn that sugar.

    ((hugs))

ps. I have been following Jenny's blog because of you and jumped up in down when I saw it. My hubby thinks I am crazy.

  15. Katie says:

I feel you right now, I have had no motivation to work lately! I just want to sit on the couch and eat Milk Duds… Mmmmm, Milk Duds

  16. harmskills says:

what is this bojangles you speak of????

  17. Steph says:

Here. This will cheer you up. Because my kids are in love with this video, and my 19 month old keeps screaming, "IT'S FUN! BOK BOK!" and will dance along.

And then I have to play it again.

    And again.

    And AGAIN.

I had to play it three times this morning before I could get out of the house :(

  18. Stacey says:

I wish you were having a better day. I've been in a funk all weekend and I'm still in it. It sucks. But…this too shall pass. It will not last forever.

  19. Jenny says:

I love you, BA. Remember: Tomorrow will be better.

  20. Leslie says:

That’s the feeling I had yesterday… except when I go to that place, it makes me want to sit on the couch and eat an entire cake.

    Hope your day gets better…

  21. Jamee says:

Your today was my yesterday. Sending you big (((hugs))). And oh how I miss Bojangles! I would give my right leg for a pair of bo-berry biscuits right now! Don't think they are very celiac friendly though! But sending you lots of love and hugs!

  22. Mommy C says:

I hear you! Your comment about it being like it's raining, only it is sunny out…..well here in Oregon the weather has been CRAPPY! The weather guy on the news last night pointed out that we have had FOUR days of sun since April….yeah, that's right– FOUR!!! Ugh, I think I just ate my way through last week. I kept meaning to bring out my sun lamp, but just that thought that I have to do that in June makes me pissed. I also sport the pony tail, but I use the excuse that S pulls on my hair otherwise.

Oh, and now I am craving swedish fish. Thanks.

  23. Stefani says:

OMG… red swedish fish are like crack for me… and I'm on a island with no grocery stores or gas stations… why did you have to mention them?? :)

side note… just had to buy a new set of tires as well… 650 bucks down the drain…. I need a car that flies. That would solve both problems. :)

  24. ellejay says:

I am tired also. & Good LORD- 3?! I thought it was hard enough just to cram in 1…. *knockonwood* since twins run in my family.

  25. Karen says:

I hope today is better than yesterday, love!

Bojangles can really work wonders on a bad day…hope it did the trick! :)

  26. Melodramamma says:

Hang in there. At least all the craziness makes for an entertaining post. And, love me some sweet tea on a hot summer day. Hope today is much better : )
