You know how sometimes, you have a “blind friend date?” Where you put on your best dress by Shabby Apple & walk nervously up to a local Starbucks, all to meet a GORGEOUS blonde with a personality & zest for life that cannot be matched. & you know you’ve met someone that in former lives, you gathered around the community well with. She’s the kind of girl that you go “DAMN IT, where were you four years ago when I got married?!” because you know she’d be the 7th girl in a green dress, even if that made the sides uneven. You love her THAT much, THAT instantly.
That’s who Kacia is for me. & a few months ago, I found my sister from a different mister in this little bundle of blonde from Pennsylvania. We have phone dates & blog parties & huge ideas that we scheme up & that prattle nonsensically about.
The only problem? The states that separate us.
Except she’s creative & truly funny & knows how to get her point across without using four-letter-words (I’m taking lessons from her on that). She makes booties, onesies, programs websites….essentially, she does everything & does it all well no matter how stressed she feels.

Well of course I heart Abigail cause that's my daughter's name. But if our next one is a boy, we have the name Oliver already picked out. When my husband was a teenager, he picked out names for his children, and though I didn't like the girl one, the boy one, Oliver, I absolutely love.
