We were pretty much the quintessential Renaissance family this weekend. Doing everything, learning everything. & I think I can speak for all three of us when I say…WE ARE EXHAUSTED!

One of us learned how to stand.

Two of us learned how to garden.

& we learned that with the right paint, we actually enjoy it. Painting the dining room Tiffany blue only two weeks before Mother’s Day earns me zero points for subtlety.

We kept learning how to giggle together.

I learned how to sew.

Nate learned to give up. Harrison will only cheer for the Tarheels.

As parents, we learned that sometimes, there is a reason they created Veggie Tales: The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown. It’s so Momma can take an important phone call & Daddy can take a shower.
We hope y’all had a great weekend!

Haha so cute. I love it. Yay for a productive weekend!
Aw, I love that Harrison learned to stand! That's so exciting!!
Yay for gardening! Yay for sewing! Well, yay for it all, really.
Harrison is adorable, you look great, and I think Tiffany blue for the dining room is a wonderful choice. I'm glad you had a great, albeit exhausting, weekend.
Look at you go! Seriously! Sewing and gardening is so much fun…especially gardening because you get to be outside.
Doesn't it feel so good to have accomplished so much? I love when that happens!
Hello, adorable! Your little man is SO cute.
LOVE your new wall color, by the way. It's cheery, but in a chic and elegant way.
OMG, Harrison is so freakin' cute! I think he looks a lot like you, especially in the picture where he is standing.
I learned that Harrison and Nathan have a lot of the same things. In every picture you posted (and in many of the pictures in the previous posts) there is at least one thing that we have too. We have all of the outfits Harrison has (if the red one says Little Flirt), the same play mat, etc.
I however, wish I had your beautiful house (well… one like it, lol). We're still stuck in an apartment after moving a few months ago. But I just wanted to say I think it's gorgeous. And I love the Tiffany blue.
Looks like you had a GREAT weekend! We also have a special video we break out for just such occasions!!
adorable pictures! Love the Tiffany Blue!
oooh I love the tiffany blue! It looks great! I think they invented yo gabba gabba for the same purpose too ha.
Did we channel each others thoughts? We also planted a garden, I sewed toy clips and baked…instead of painted. Congrats to H for standing and I hope you continue your sewing adventures. I love sewing!
That first picture of Harrison cracks me up! The look on his face totally says "Look at this cool thing I just learned how to do!" Love it!
I like to think that my awesome craftiness is what inspired those curtains. Just sayin' : )
I second the VeggieTales Silly Song Countdown. Jaden LOVES Larry's High Silk Hat. The characters were at Lifeway last weekend here in Nashville and he LOVED getting his picture made with them. I am so glad Harrison is watching some good Jesus-lovin tv!
omg the picture of Harrison standing is so effing cute!
Great post! Looks like a great time was had by a beautiful family!
Holy shit! That pic of Harrison standing is the best! Thanks for making me smile
We have pretty much the same exact picture of Henry in a UNC cap
Adorable!!
Your little one is such a cutie!! I am now following your blog so I can "get to know your family"!
I also want to know how you put your name on your pics so people don't take them! I can't find how anywhere!!

Too precious! Looks like you accomplished a lot and had fun doing it.
Go Tarheels! (I was born in NC, so I'm always for them). Yeah for standing — now even more fun is about to start! And LOVE the Tiffany blue! Who says subtlety is good? Wish I'd thought of this 'hint'!

Will you post the exact brand and color of your dining room paint? I think that might be EXACTLY the color I'm looking for my daughter's new room!
YES, please share details on the color!! I have been looking for a similar shade.
Every time I see that Sly Fox shirt I giggle uncontrollably. It is SO freaking cute! I love subtle things like that. My favorite sleeper for my friend's baby has a rhino on it and it says 'I'm in Charge.'
Oh, and DD's room is Tiffany blue…great color! You guys got WAY too much done this weekend. I merely managed to spend $150 at Kohl's on gifts and maternity clothes…
Love the dining room! Looks like you guys had a great weekend.
He is sucha cutie!
Wow. What an awesome weekend. Sadly, if I painted the dining room Tiffany blue, my husband would not get the hint. Sigh. Harrison is the cutest, I just cannot get enough!
I want to know where you got the raised garden, or how you made it, or stuff like that. I want to do one but I'm kinda lazy and dont want to research it so I'll just ask you!
hahahaha! Home Depot. A kit.
& lots of Miracle Grow garden soil, manure, & compost. It's the lazy-man's garden.
OK so Im totally wondering why Harrison isnt wearing a Duke hat??? lol
We have the same pic of my lil man in a Duke hat! lol
I love the gardens! I just planted my first garden as well this weekend! Heres to hopefully green thumbs!
I want to do a raised garden, too, but I know my dogs will end up "watering" it for me. I'm trying to come up with ideas to keep them away – how do you keep your dog out of it???
Sewing is my therapy – the hum of the machine is very cathartic. You'll love it! You best get a shelf or two for fabric though – it's addicting!!!
Great Blair, just great. I have my entire office in Tiffany Blue (with all white furniture from Ikea) and have been begging my husband to re-paint it a toned-down-yellowish/gold. Now I am second guessing myself. Love it in your house!
I just had to comment that the single piece of clothing my husband picked out for our little man was "I'm A Sly Guy," and he is so sad that he has grown out of it. Such adorable pictures.
