He just got back from a tour from Japan and is home visiting. The other night he spent the night and out for a while with friends. My 4 month old woke up at 3 am for a feeding and my brother was not home yet. I was having all of these images of him being beat up and laying in the gutter. (we live in a pretty safe town) I could not get back to sleep until he came home at 4am. I now know what we put our mother through. This is a trait of both my mother and grandmother and now me. Somewhere along the line I heard the rational that one should always match when going out in public, even if no one see it, in the event that there is ever an accident and they have to cut off your clothes :) My son is only eleven weeks old, but his socks will match his underwear someday.
