and yes, that is my kid face-planted on his mat, compliments of the exhausting efforts of Tummy Time. I’ve already gotten up 10 times to turn his face to the left or right, but he keeps moving it to a full on make-out session with the printed monkey.
Also, please note the canine passed out on the couch. At least she kept her legs crossed like a lady.
OH MY GOD, BLAIR. YOU LET YOUR CHILD SLEEP ON HIS STOMACH?! meh. I don’t mind him sleeping on his tummy for naps. I keep an eye on him. But the nose-first thing is a little too living-on-the-edge for my taste. ::blair sighs, gets up, & attempts #11 to move his face::

clearly im not trying to tell you how to parent your kid but maybe you should stick a boppy pillow under him so you don't have to keep getting up and then it'll be in your face Harrison! You can't face plant on a boppy!!
He looks so big and grown up in the last few photos you've posted! What are his weight and length these days? My son is one day younger than yours and he's 23.5in and 14lb.
So cute!!!
Check out my blog, I gave you a little blog award.

that is so cute, I agree he is looking all grown up now
Don't you just love when they sleep the way they are not suppose to? as long as you are watching him he'll be fine. (I know how it is to change their position tons of time and they go right back.
So cute.
By the way, did you know it's National Cupcake Day today??
what a sweet little guy you have. Those photos are too precious!
Aww….tummy time is so fun! This is my first time on your blog and I was reading your "about me". You are hilarious! BTW…if you get a inquiry about a penis pump. Send it my way! j/k LMAO I would have commented there (on your about me page) but I didn't see a place to leave one :/ I hope you have a great Christmas!
crap…it was your contact me page :p So funny! I'm still laughing!
Geez the first thing I zeroed in on in that pic is the Zantac bottle way over on the ottoman. Clearly I have issues.
I wouldn't sweat the tummy sleeping too much, especially if you're right there.
I wouldnt worry about the tummy sleeping when you are there.
"they" keep changing what is the proper way for a baby to sleep. I think when either my sister or I was a baby they said tummy sleeping was the correct way not back
My daughter is also 9 weeks old and I noticed that Harrison has a mirror on his play mat. That toy is my daughter's favorite thing in the world, (besides my boob of course)
Keira started doing that as soon as she could roll over and has been a face-plant sleeper ever since. It scares the bejezus out of me still.
Hey! I gave you the Happy 101 Award. Check out my blog post here: http://meegs1982.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-c… to see what its all about.
xoxo
How funny, tell him he can't start practicing until at least 16! My little one would work on flipping her head from side to side and get stuck in the middle. I would be right by her side but she would still cut her eyes at me with the look of "Mom, get me unstuck"! My bet is that you got to #13 and then he finally had enough and woke up. Good luck with such a cutie.
Too funny! Ha-Ha!
OMG! I am jealous of your activity gym. I wanted that very one but couldn't find it in stores (and I have a weird phobia of buying online… even from Target, I know it's weird)… so I had to buy the other version that also has a large giraffe but the mat isn't round… :'(
