img 2105 481x1024 13 Week "Belly" Pictureooops, I’m running a little late with this! I had it all ready to go on Sunday, but then forgot to post it & yesterday, I had the headache from hell. So here we go, just 2 days late!

How far along? 13 weeks!!!
Total weight gain/loss: Depending on the day…on average, I’m still breaking even.
Maternity clothes? Just pants.
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: It’s okay…I have very vivid dreams, so it’s hard to feel like I really slept.
Best moment this week: Minus the work-week dramz, telling my boss was pretty fun.
Movement: Still can’t feel it.
Food cravings: Still vanilla ice cream, salad, lemon..
Gender: Kinda thinking girl?
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: I wish I could remember what I miss the most….
What I am looking forward to: Starting to refinish the baby’s dresser.
Weekly Wisdom: Start looking into childcare early. You may need recovery time since Sticker Shock is a nasty, nasty little bug.
Milestones: Researching daycares.

Hungry, hungry hippo.

What I ate for lunch, in order of consumption:

1) an apple
2) a bowl of Lucky Charms (non-chocolate, unfortch)
3) a banana
4) another bowl of Lucky Charms
5) a piece of oven-fried chicken with 1 cup macaroni & cheese
6) a can of Coke to wash it down

and that was just to take the edge off the hunger. I don’t feel full, but at least I’m not 2 seconds from gnawing my arm off like a rabid raccoon.

::blair eyes bag of popcorn:: That looks promising as an afternoon snack that won’t last past the hour.

I am hungry.

All. The. Time.

Baby Crack: Step One

The “Before” photo, enough to frighten anyone:

As you can see, Baby Crack has become a dumping zone for a) all the baby stuff I buy and b) all the stuff we don’t know want to bother with.  Including a humidifier from 1986 & clothes I outgrew after putting on the typical 10 lbs post marital-vows.  My mother came over Saturday afternoon to help sort through the mess & make a massive Goodwill run (God bless her)!  We spent about two hours sorting into 3 piles — baby, Goodwill, & trash.

Didn’t we do an awesome job?  Next project — to steam clean the carpet, clean the blinds, & wipe down the woodwork.  The room is FILTHY after 2 years of neglect.
Did I mention that Tucker’s crate used to be housed here, & one night she had explosive diarrhea?  The carpet is in dire straights (you can’t even see the damage in this picture), so we’re seeing if we can rescue it with the steam cleaner & some spot treatment.  Fingers crossed that it works!
